Manspiration: Gus Kenworthy
"I got to a point where continuing to closet myself, was just like, showing that i was ashamed of who I was and living in fear, and to finally just be transparent about it – of who I am, and live my life honestly and authentically has been the best thing that i've been able to do for myself."
Gus Kenworthy is an Olympic-winning free-style skier who has also competed at the X-Games, World Cup Men's Halfpipe, and Men's Slope Style. Since coming out in Rolling Stone Magazine on October 2015, Gus has garnered media attention as the first action sports star to accept who he is as an openly gay man and a world-class athlete.
In his recent shoot for MeUndies, Gus shows off the undwear line's "Celebrate" boxer briefs. MeUndies will donate $1 of every pair sold to the Los Angeles LGBT Center to expand their youth center. Gus goes on further to explain, "the people who love and support you unconditionally are going to continue to love and support you unconditionally...Everyone deserves to be themselves, be free, and embrace yourself, love yourself, and know that you've only got this one life. Cherish it."
